What are the benefits of having a coach?


Coaching has many benefits. People who get coaching experience greater decision making abilities, enhanced self esteem, improved confidence and better interpersonal effectiveness.




Why focus on confidence coaching?


I read a 2018 study by the University of Glasgow that stated that a worrying 75% of women say they lack confidence at work. I have been seeing that play out with my clents who are ambitious business women who are seemingly successful and confident. I wanted to learn more and understand why this is but more importantly I want to help women to thrive and be confident.




What can you help me with?


The main situations where women lack confidence are interviews, asking for a pay rise, chairing a meeting, making a presentation, networking and speaking with their boss or other colleagues. I can help you with all of these (and more).

Who are your clients?


My clients are ambitious women who work in business. They are a mixture of women working in organisations and women who are self employed. What they have in common is that they are high achievers but lack confidence and want a relatable guide.




What is your background?


Great question. I've been working since I was about 16 when I started waitressing in a local restaurant. Since that grand entry into the workplace, I have spent nearly 16 years in the Royal Navy where I worked in sea and in shore based roles. I've also held senior HR roles in a start-up, a global giant (twice), an international creative agency and I've had my own HR consultancy. I guess I am trying to say is that I have coached many senior managers and I have a broad experience to support you




How do you operate?


In my 1-1 Coaching sessions, the topic of discussion is entirely at the discretion of my client. My role is to work with you to bring out positive outcomes. I may focus on your mindset, give you tools to work with or help you get clarity about what you want. I operate as part coach/part mentor. At the moment I am doing all my coaching via Zoom but when we return to come sense of normality, I can do face to face coaching with Melbourne based clients In Conscious Confidence Bootcamp I take on a facilitator role and as a community, we work through 6 confidence building modules. Conscious Confidence is delivered by Zoom, Facebook live, there are regular updates in the exclusive Facebook group and you receive a workbook to support the weekly sessions. Corporate workshops are all delivered on site
